“Karaoke” Carrie - Lead vocals, Tambourine
Carrie realized she was destined for stardom the first time she watched the movie Jackass. She’s super involved in our community (Downtown Partnership, PikeRide, and more), has “Legend” status within the local karaoke scene, has lost her favorite pair of green Dr. Martens, and most recently, has joined Antivirus as the most amazingly talented and fun front-person ever. She can dance, she can sing, she can drink, and she often does all three at the same time. Carrie is also the only person from Minnesota that complains about winter in Colorado.
Davin - Lead guitar, Vocals
The oldest, yet least mature member of the band, Davin grew up skateboarding, surfing, and playing in numerous 80’s and 90’s punk rock bands in Hawaii and San Diego. The Sharx (yes, spelled with an “x”), Something Really Offensive (SRO), Crankshaft, Radio Wendy, Code Brown (with his then 9 year old son), and now…Antivirus. Originally a drummer, he’s still trying to figure out this guitar thing. Oh, and if you hate the songs and think the lyrics are stupid, you can thank this guy.
Burgess - Rhythm Guitar, Backup Vocals
Dave “it’s just a cold sore” Burgess has deep roots in music going way back to rocking the saxophone with amazing (conditioned and feathered) hair in High School. He picked up the guitar five or six years ago and is more passionate about playing it than drinking bourbon (which says a lot). Dave is also married to the band’s all-time favorite vegan, bestest groupie ever, award-winning author, and all-around amazing human…JL Fields. She’s so cool there’s even a song about her called “Vegan Mosh Pit”.
Andy - Bass
This guy can pretty much play any instrument, but he’s tall, so the band makes him play bass. Andy has been a part of Antivirus as long as Davin and brings a mellow, chill vibe that counterbalances all the total spaz’s in the group...almost. Parent’s love him, guys want to be like him, and bass guitars fear him. Andy is simply the coolest of the cool.
A-Rod - Drums & Rapping
Alex’s got the beat…literally. Another member relatively new to their instrument, this multi-talented dude has is having a great time behind, and in front of, the kit. When Alex isn’t updating his Tinder profile, learning how to make stained glass, or hitting his splash cymbal just to make Davin mad (and Dave laugh), he’s rapping for an Antivirus song called A-Rod (fitting). He’s also the creative genius behind all of those ultra-cool Antivirus Music Videos…a crowd favorite.
